The return of the Stakeout 24/7 playlist to Black Ops 6 is an event many fans have been talking about, and Treyarch recently announced that it’s making its comeback on November 27. This exciting addition coincides with the start of a double XP event and the reintroduction of Prop Hunt. So mark your calendars, as Stakeout 24/7 is set to go live at 1 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. GMT). But, considering recent trends, it might just drop a bit earlier, though not later than expected.
Stakeout has always been a map of contrasting opinions among Call of Duty enthusiasts. While some players have their favorites—like the timeless Nuketown—Stakeout is one map that’s gradually climbed the ranks to become a beloved battleground. Admittedly, my initial impression wasn’t too favorable, but after a few rounds, its charm became clear.
The map is a whirlwind of frenzied action. It’s intense, addictive, and leaves you with your heart racing. The map is almost entirely enclosed, with only a few small open sections. Stopping to catch your breath? Not an option—you’ll need to stay on the move.
When the Stakeout 24/7 playlist was removed in the past, a good chunk of the player base wasn’t happy. But Treyarch, thankfully, listens to its community. In combination with the double XP celebrations and Prop Hunt festivities, Stakeout 24/7, along with its Hardcore variant, will make a resounding return on November 27.
These playlist updates usually happen around 1 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. GMT). However, from what we’ve seen lately, it’s possible they might launch ahead of schedule. Players can expect to enjoy a rotation of all the game modes currently available for Stakeout, including Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Kill Order, and Domination.
Stakeout is also a haven for those eyeing camo challenges. Given its compact layout and brisk match times, it’s the ideal spot for camo enthusiasts aiming for gold and beyond, when the focus shifts from just headshots. For instance, securing 10 double kills for a gold camo is notably easier on Stakeout compared to other maps. Ascending to the diamond level, which requires getting three kills without dying ten times, becomes much more feasible once you’ve mastered Stakeout’s unique flow.
As someone who’s been slacking a bit on these camo challenges, I’m planning on diving right into Stakeout during the next playlist event. It’ll be a great chance to work through and knock off those challenges I’ve been procrastinating on.
