After a tumultuous week, we’re settling back into the usual routine on the original Switch.
In case you missed it last week, Namco’s "Assault Plus" made its way into the Archives.
Reflecting on last week could be summed up in just a few words: "OK, so THAT happened." With the chaotic aftermath of the Switch 2 Direct and the ensuing show, it felt like a storm of activity. Now, the lineup of eShop releases almost feels quaint in comparison. This week, though, has its gems, starting with "Star Overdrive," the hovercraft-centric game that gave us a glimpse during the Direct. Can you believe that was only a week and a half ago? It feels like ages. Then there’s "Battlefield Waltz," brought to us by Idea Factory and localized by IFI. Though, we might want to keep an eye out for any potential day-one patches—I know I will.
Other interesting titles to note this week include "Promise Mascot Agency," another installment of the "Snow Bros." series, and something called an "EggConsole" game—a throwback maze game from 1983. It seems like it’s safe to dive into "Pyramid Warp," especially if you’re outside Japan.
