Updated as of December 13th, we’re thrilled to share that the Support Virtual Agent is now officially available to all US players, following a successful trial period with Xbox Insiders. We owe a big thank you to all Insiders who participated in testing, helping us refine this feature through their valuable feedback.
The Support Virtual Agent is an innovative AI-driven tool crafted to help Xbox users tackle their gaming support issues more effectively. It’s being rolled out initially to select Xbox Insiders and is accessible via support.xbox.com. For now, if you’re an Xbox Insider in the United States with English set as your preferred language, you can start trying out the Support Virtual Agent. Simply log into an account associated with the Xbox Insider Program on support.xbox.com to begin.
Feedback from Xbox Insiders during this trial is crucial to us, as it helps us enhance the Support Virtual Agent. You’ll have the opportunity to rate responses with a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" or leave feedback directly using the "Give feedback" button found at the bottom of the page.
Using the Support Virtual Agent
Starting immediately, the Support Virtual Agent is visible on the “Contact us” page of support.xbox.com for Xbox Insiders. After signing in with your registered Insider account, you’ll see the option to engage with our new Virtual Agent.
Once you click on “Ask a question,” the Support Virtual Agent will open in a new window. You can type or speak your questions, and the agent will provide relevant responses sourced from support.xbox.com. If you need more assistance, you can request to connect with a live support agent during Xbox Support’s operational hours.
This preview period also lets you tailor your support experience. By clicking on the ellipsis menu, you can choose between two distinct Support Virtual Agents.
Getting Xbox Insider Support and Providing Feedback
For Xbox Insiders in need of support, the Xbox Insider subreddit is your go-to resource. It’s populated with official Xbox staff, moderators, and fellow Insiders ready to assist. Whenever possible, contribute to existing threads before creating new ones—this approach allows us to aid you more efficiently. Additionally, you can offer feedback directly to Team Xbox by following the instructions under the "Report a problem online" section.
