Intel has unveiled its plans for the upcoming Vision 2025 event, scheduled to kick off on March 31. This event promises to be an insightful window into what we can anticipate from the tech powerhouse often dubbed “Chipzilla.”
For several years, Intel’s Vision event has been a cornerstone of their “ON” series, primarily concentrating on emerging technologies and sharing the company’s forward-looking insights. This gathering is crucial for Intel’s partners and customers as it highlights the company’s trajectory amidst shifting industry trends and ever-evolving consumer demands. The 2025 edition is especially intriguing, given the substantial restructuring and strategic shifts that Intel has undergone recently.
At this year’s event, Intel has announced that the interim co-CEO, Michelle Johnston Holthaus, will take the stage as the keynote speaker. Although Intel hasn’t fully disclosed the agenda, the event’s description gives us a sneak peek:
“Intel technologies are pivotal in propelling business productivity and shaping the future landscapes of industries through swift technological advancements. Join us for the live keynote where Intel executives and thought leaders will offer groundbreaking perspectives, share customer success stories, and deliver engaging demonstrations.”
Reflecting on last year’s event, viewers were treated to Intel’s former CEO, Pat Gelsinger, showcasing the Gaudi 3 AI platform and revealing insights about Xeon 6 CPUs. It also focused on what Intel described as “Enterprise AI,” an ecosystem crafted to meet client AI system needs. Though the AI ambitions didn’t fully pan out as hoped, there’s a renewed sense of optimism looking ahead, especially with the leadership changes at Intel.
As Vision 2025 approaches, expectations are high that Intel will delve into updates on its AI ventures. There’s speculation about a potential Falcon Shores exhibit, although that remains to be confirmed. Additionally, we anticipate hearing more about the future landscape of Intel Foundry Services, possibly featuring insights into the 18A node and an updated product roadmap. Such updates are keenly awaited, particularly after they weren’t extensively covered at CES 2025.
