In an exciting new update, players of Walkabout Mini Golf can now test their skills on the illustrious Mount Olympus. As the 32nd addition to the game, this course follows the Viva Las Elvis release from January. Studio head Lucas Martell reveals that Mount Olympus surpasses the size of last year’s expansive Temple At Zerzura course.
The course is set high above the Aegean Sea, where the realm of ancient deities unfolds. Here, the gods and goddesses of mythology gather to decide the fate of mortals in this epic mini-golf journey. Players will navigate through elaborate temples, breathtaking mythical settings, and tricky challenges. But stay alert: your golfing prowess will be scrutinized by the Olympian Council, who will determine if you achieve triumph or incur the gods’ wrath.
As you ascend Mount Olympus, you’ll come across temples and offerings featuring prominent figures of the Greek pantheon like Zeus, Apollo, and Artemis. Our walk-through with Walkabout creator Lucas Martell offers an extensive look behind the scenes, spanning 28 minutes with exclusive insights.

Recently, I had an insightful discussion with Don Carson, the senior art director at Mighty Coconut, about the creative process behind the game. He shared that their goal is to consistently “over deliver,” thanks to a layered design strategy that extends over a year, allowing teams to pass off courses in rotation. Today, the studio’s team members, affectionately known as the Coconuts, are in the dozens.
With the stunning success of the Elvis release—marking the best sales day in the game’s almost five-year history—will Mount Olympus entice players to return and continue the momentum of shopping from the store?
