Are you on the hunt for the best VR game deals this Black Friday? Here’s the scoop on the latest offers we’ve uncovered.
As Black Friday approaches on November 29, the early bird deals have started to roll in, and VR gaming is no exception to these savings. While we’ll touch on a few hardware deals, our main focus here is on individual game sales for systems like Quest, PC VR, PlayStation VR2, Vive, and Pico.
This list will no doubt see updates over the next few days, but here’s what we’ve found so far.
Quest
When it comes to the Quest 3S, don’t hold your breath for any massive hardware markdowns. However, if you’re sticking with the Quest 2 or Quest 3, the Meta Horizon Store has launched its Black Friday sales. Until December 3, you can nab up to 40% off select games by using the code ‘BFCM24’ at checkout—and here’s the kicker—you can use this code multiple times!
Plenty of titles are on discount, along with ten separate bundles. We’ve picked out some highlights below, though not every discount is listed officially.
PC VR
The Steam Autumn Sale doesn’t kick off until November 27, so don’t expect loads of big PC VR discounts just yet. But if you’re eager for something new, there are a few Black Friday-themed deals out there already, with varying end dates. Some of these are minor discounts on recent releases, while others feature significant savings on older games.
Here’s what’s currently up for grabs with PC VR discounts on Steam.
Interestingly, the Humble Store has started its Black Friday Fest 2024 with over 90 SteamVR games included, focusing mainly on older titles. For those keen on expanding their VR library, here are some of our top picks.
Meanwhile, the Epic Games Store is offering Tetris Effect: Connected at 50% off and Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR at a whopping 70% off. GOG and GMG also have a few small PC VR discounts to check out.
PlayStation VR2
Sony has kicked off its Black Friday sale, which runs until December 2. While there are hundreds of discounted games overall, only 14 PlayStation VR2-supported titles and three DLC packs are in the official lineup. However, there are more discounted games outside the official sale, with additional price cuts for PlayStation Plus subscribers on select titles.
We’ve listed all the games from the official selection and tossed in a few extras for good measure.
In terms of hardware, Sony has significantly slashed the price of the PlayStation VR2, bundled with Horizon Call Of The Mountain, down to $350. More details on that below.
Viveport
Although Viveport falls under PC VR, we’re giving it special mention due to unique deals. This Black Friday, there’s a 10% discount on an Infinity subscription, plus annual subscribers can keep a copy of Arizona Sunshine 2 Deluxe Edition. Eight game bundles are also available at 50% off. There’s also a mix of hardware discounts available. With the Vive Focus Vision purchase, you’re getting four games from the Viveport PC store or five from the standalone Viveport store. Pico
Pico is known for bundling games with its headsets, and this Black Friday is no different. With a new Pico 4 Ultra headset, you’ll receive Pico Motion Trackers, three complementary games, and a month’s premium subscription to VRChat Plus.
As for individual Pico game sales, there isn’t much at the moment. Things may change closer to Black Friday, but as of now, only two titles are discounted.
