Several EA games, including well-known series like Battlefield and FIFA/EA Sports FC, are currently offline as a result of server outages. Reports began surfacing early Sunday morning, with players expressing their frustration over being unable to access EA Online. The majority of these complaints have been coming from fans of the Battlefield franchise.
### EA Online Servers Down: Which Games Are Impacted?
I first encountered the problem myself when trying to log into Battlefield V—by the way, it’s an excellent game and currently available at a great discount on the PS Store. However, I was greeted with a disappointing “failed to connect to EA Online” message. It seems this issue is affecting all Battlefield titles, including Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 2042, as others have shared similar experiences online.
There are also reports indicating that FIFA/EA Sports FC games are facing similar connectivity challenges. So far, I haven’t seen any connections issues reported for Apex Legends or EA’s other sports games. But if you’re suddenly unable to connect to EA’s services, don’t worry—your internet is not to blame.
Unfortunately, this server outage couldn’t have come at a worse time—Sunday morning when many people are eager to get some gaming in. As of now, EA hasn’t officially acknowledged the problem, and there’s no word yet on when it will be resolved. We’ll make sure to provide updates once EA Online is back in action.
