Kluge Interactive, the team renowned for the VR rhythm sensation, Synth Riders (2019), is gearing up to launch their next big project. Get ready, because their upcoming VR fighting game, FINAL FURY, is making its debut in early access on Quest and SteamVR headsets very soon.
Set to hit Quest 2 and higher, as well as PC VR headsets, on May 8th, Final Fury brings the thrilling action of arcade-style 1v1 fights into the virtual realm. What sets this game apart is its innovative gesture-based gameplay system, which truly immerses you in each battle.
Having nine-time EVO champion Justin Wong on board has really shaped the game. His expert feedback on dashes, grabs, and character dynamics brings an authentic edge to the experience. "When Kluge Interactive approached me with their vision for FINAL FURY, I was immediately intrigued," Wong shared. "I’m eager to see how players will dive into this VR journey when it launches in Early Access."
When it hits early access, here’s what players can dive into:
Feel the Fighter! – Dive into VR combat with life-like punches, dodges, and blocks.
Revolutionary VR Combat – Experience classic fighter mechanics in an entirely new physical format.
Growing Lineup – Start with six unique fighters and look forward to more characters, arenas, and fighting styles.
