Hi everyone, I’m Kit Navock, proud to announce that I’m the new Chief Marketing Officer at Immersed. A while back, I parted ways with my company. Like many entrepreneurs at this stage, I took some time to contemplate my future endeavors and to decide what kind of projects and people I wanted to team up with. To cut to the chase, I’ve joined Immersed. Why? Because I believe in what this company is aiming to accomplish. And now, if you share the same vision, you can join us by investing before we gain even more momentum. But let me backtrack a bit and share how I ended up here.
Immersed has been on my radar for quite some time. Initially, I supported them as an early investor and gradually got acquainted with the team during simple dinners, movie nights, and brainstorming sessions at their Austin office. I even ended up hiring someone from their circle at the company I sold. What began as mere curiosity blossomed into genuine admiration. These folks weren’t merely talented; they were determined, driven, humble, and focused on their mission.
Jumping forward to a few months ago, I casually texted Renji, the founder of Immersed, about some basketball updates. His unexpected response was, “You should come work with us.”
Admittedly, it wasn’t an immediate, clear-cut decision. Initially, I took his call just for fun. Renji is undeniably convincing, so much so that our conversation lingered in my mind. I consulted with my trusted circle of friends and mentors, telling them how life was good—I was consulting for limited hours, fresh out of selling a business, and taking life in stride. But this opportunity stirred something different in me.
Their unanimous advice? Go for it.
Taking this leap meant accepting a lower salary than what I have made in recent years, with stock options that wouldn’t turn into cash for some time. Yet, it wasn’t just about immediate gains—this was about believing in the team and the mission for something that had the potential to become a tech giant. When I finally got to experience what they were building firsthand, everything fell into place, and I was thoroughly impressed.
Let’s dive into the details: the Visor. This XR device is quite unique.
I’ll be honest—I’m somewhat new to the XR realm. While I’m no stranger to technology, the AR/VR universe is somewhat new territory for me. I wasn’t the type duct-taping sensors to my face or modifying OpenVR back in the day. I am more of an average user, curious to know what spatial computing feels like, which is why I got myself an Apple Vision Pro.
Trying it out, I found it to be effective in boosting productivity and focus. However, when I switched to the Visor, Immersed’s very own headset, I realized it was precisely what I didn’t know I needed.
The Visor is impressively lightweight—about 186 grams, lighter than a mobile phone, styled like chunky sunglasses, and operates independently with dual 4K micro-OLED displays and a three-hour battery life. Crucially, it’s equipped for authentic work tasks like using VS Code, Figma, checking emails, using Blender, opening multiple tabs, or even streaming Netflix. It felt like a genuine productivity extension rather than a novelty.
This isn’t just a developer kit or a high-priced gadget—it’s practical, accessible, and fits seamlessly into anyone’s work routine.
Despite being new to this, it’s obvious to me: this isn’t some unfinished prototype. It’s the first headset that made me think, “This is ready for the world.”
Moving beyond just an app, with the Visor, we’re venturing into a complete spatial computing platform— an operating system centered around deep focus and innate 3D tools rather than floating 2D windows. It’s reminiscent of how Steve Jobs envisioned Apple; aiming for an integrated ecosystem.
The defining moment for me was encountering Curator AI—a co-pilot seamlessly enhancing my workflow by reducing task-switching while discreetly boosting efficiency. It’s not just an additional feature; it’s a core element of the platform. I find myself wishing Siri could offer this level of utility.
Moreover, combining the Immersed platform, the Visor, and Curator AI propels us beyond basic LLMs and into tangible spaces. Being OpenXR-compatible, developers can build right on top, whether it be tools, agents, or entirely new apps.
This is more than just projecting your desktop in 3D. We’re creating spatial productivity systems from the ground up, with AI intricately integrated every step of the way. It’s crafted for creators.
The significance of all this now cannot be overstated. Joining Immersed wasn’t about discussing floating screens or virtual avatars; it was about the belief that spatial computing is set to transform how we work and live. Combining immersive environments, intuitive tools, and always-available AI support is a revolutionary step, happening faster than many anticipate. The talent and vision at Immersed make it possible—exactly why I’ve come onboard.
This isn’t just a tech novelty. What we’re developing at Immersed caters to professionals across various fields—engineers, designers, traders, artists, filmmakers—anyone who relies on screens. As AI and robotics continue to evolve, the value of a reliable, immersive spatial platform will only grow.
Visor is more than just a piece of hardware. The Immersed platform transcends the boundaries of a mere virtual workspace. Curator is more than a simple AI agent. Together, they form a cohesive ecosystem for professional growth and innovation.
We’re thrilled to bring this evolution to you all.
For those who have been waiting for the innovation of the right headset and the right company behind it—now’s your moment to be a part of it. Come join Immersed in paving the way for spatial computing for everyone.
