On April 16, fans of Final Fantasy 14 were greeted with a delightful surprise: two stunning new outfits available for purchase exclusively through the game’s Online Store. Dubbed The Warden’s Attire and the Far Eastern Performer’s Attire, these outfits are the latest additions players can grab using real currency. It’s worth noting that one piece of the Far Eastern Performer’s outfit might not appear on every character model.
As these chic outfits make their debut, Final Fantasy 14 is bustling with exciting events. The Callback Campaign is one such feature, designed to bring back players who have been away from Eorzea for at least 90 days. By extending an invitation, players can offer their friends seven free days of game time and Silver Chocobo Feathers to exchange for in-game gear enhancements. Meanwhile, the Hatching-Tide event has sprouted once again in Gridania, inviting players to complete a couple of brief quests. Successfully doing so rewards the coveted Archon Egg Parasol, a fashionable novelty item ideal for expanding a player’s accessory collection. This Easter-themed celebration runs until April 24, so players should act quickly to partake in the fun.
In addition to the festive Hatching-Tide discount, other enticing cosmetic items have also made their way to the Final Fantasy 14 Online Store. The Warden’s Attire, priced at $18, draws inspiration from Azeyma, one of Eorzea’s revered deities. Enthusiasts may remember Azeyma from Endwalker’s Myths of the Realm alliance raid, where she appeared as a formidable boss. Players can journey to the Aglaia raid and come face to face with The Warden herself. While Azeyma’s attire can be yours for $18, keep in mind that additional charges may apply. Those keen on acquiring The Warden’s hairstyle will need to set aside an extra $5, bringing the total cost to $23 for the full Azeyma-inspired look.
Fans of Korean folk music will be particularly drawn to the Far Eastern Performer’s Attire, available for $18. This ensemble comprises four pieces, including a versatile mask that can be clipped to the side or worn on the face. It’s important to note, however, that the mask isn’t compatible with Viera or Hrothgar characters. Each outfit, both The Warden’s and the Far Eastern Performer’s, features two dye channels, offering players the flexibility to customize colors to their liking. Furthermore, as Hatching-Tide continues, past event rewards will be available at discounted rates until April 24.
Save the date! Just before the sales wrap up, Patch 7.21 will be rolled out, unveiling a new feature called Cosmic Exploration. With all these updates and additions, April promises to be an exhilarating month in the world of Final Fantasy 14, providing ample content for the gaming community to explore and enjoy.
