The curtain is about to rise on the 28th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, the prestigious event hosted by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS). This event sees standout games from every corner of the gaming world getting the recognition they deserve. This year, the competition is fierce with Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, PlayStation’s beloved Astro Bot, and Helldivers 2 leading the pack, each snagging an impressive six nominations. All three are also contending for the coveted Game of the Year award.
Coming up just behind are Balatro from Localthunk and Playstack, and Xbox Game Studios’ and Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, each with five nods. The talent is spread across multiple teams, with Xbox and PlayStation both boasting 15 nominations across various titles.
