As we gear up for the holiday season, we want to give you a quick heads-up about a major change coming to a well-loved racing game series on PS5 and PS4. If you’re a fan of NASCAR games, now’s the time to act because after December 31, these games and their downloadable content will be removed from all digital storefronts, including the PS Store.
Currently, you can snag the standard editions of NASCAR games for $20 or less from the PS Store, and some even come with bonus content at no extra cost. For instance, the NASCAR Heat 3 – Hendrick Motorsports Test Scheme Pack is one of the freebies available.
Right now, in the latest PS Store sale, you can grab NASCAR Arcade Rush with a massive 70% discount, making it available for just $15. For those of you subscribed to PS Plus Extra, you’re in luck; NASCAR Heat 5 is in the catalog and is free to play until the end of the year.
Just to keep everything clear, here’s the full rundown of the ten NASCAR games set to be delisted across all platforms:
1. NASCAR 15: Victory Edition
2. NASCAR Rivals
3. NASCAR 21: Ignition
4. NASCAR Heat Mobile
5. NASCAR Heat Evolution
6. NASCAR Heat Ultimate Edition
7. NASCAR Heat 2
8. NASCAR Heat 3
9. NASCAR Heat 4
10. NASCAR Heat 5
The good news is, if you already own any of these, you won’t be losing access come the new year; they’ll remain playable.
Looking ahead, iRacing has secured the NASCAR license and is hard at work developing NASCAR 25, which is set to release in fall 2025. Keep an eye out for further updates on this exciting new chapter for NASCAR fans!
