Almost a year since its release, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is diving deep into Loki’s enduring influence with its latest Cosmic Event. Since last December, Sanzaru Games has been busy keeping this VR action RPG engaging by rolling out these Cosmic Events. Each of these events has presented players with unique challenges known as Cosmic Objectives. From battling a vampiric plague to exploring vast multiverses and holding off the forces of Surtur, the final showdown, aptly named ‘The Trickster’s Legacy,’ has you facing Loki himself.
In this climatic event, players are tasked with fixing twisted realities. To do so, you’ll be stepping through ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, surviving through trap-filled rooms, tackling five divine trials in one Rift run, and eliminating the Loki Anomalies in the overworld. Successfully completing these challenges rewards you with an array of themed items, including the Staff of the Trickster, a set of Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, various emotes, and exclusive badges and titles.
Even though this marks the curtain call for new events, it doesn’t mean Cosmic Events are fading away. Sanzaru Games has confirmed they’ll be re-running these events starting with Into the Multiverse, offering a fantastic opportunity for players to snag rewards they might have missed the first time around.
On another note, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is also introducing a new armor set that doesn’t come with the usual time constraints found in other Trickster’s Legacy rewards. Meta Quest+ subscribers are in for a treat with a dinosaur-themed armor and a matching stone blade weapon straight from the island of Laramidia.
For those looking to dive into this immersive world, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is currently available on the Meta Quest platform, ready for adventure.
